I attended Kathleen Dunphy's workshop in Murphy's, California this past weekend. It was exciting, stimulating and challenging! Now I have to get down and finish the five paintings I started.

- I was influenced in the arts by my mother at an early age. Caught drawing and coloring on my bedroom walls by my father, I remember my mother's defense and support: "Leave her alone! That's her room. She's expressing herself!" Later in life, I wanted to decorate the walls of my first home. Unable to afford original art, I decided to take art classes and paint my own. I've been painting ever since!
